POSITION SUMMARY
The key role of the Channel Manager is to be responsible for enabling and managing distributors to achieve annual target and oblige them to follow vendors’ channel policy for better business environment and channel efficiency.
The Channel Manager is also responsible for maintaining company values and integrity and ensure that all businesses conducted in China meet and exceed that required by Raritan and local law.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The position is based in Beijing and reports to the Country Manager, China directly;
- Responsible for partner recruitment and channel management;
- Identify the potential partners and recruit qualified partners;
- Build comprehensive partner business plan for sales and marketing;
- Responsible for developing Channel Strategy;
- Grow Channel businesses through channel partners;
- Work with Sales Team and Sales Engineering Team to develop channel capability and expertise;
- Work with Sales and Marketing Team to develop channel specific programs to increase channel loyalty and to enable the sales and delivery of channel servcies to achieve hyper-growth of channel services;
- Responsible for annual contracting, annual and quarter business planning review with distributors;
- Work with each distributor to develop business plans to achieve annual target;
- Oversee the project/deal/price of each distributor, manage project/deal/ to settle conflict with regional sales based on channel policy;
- Provide support/training to distributors;
- Manage sales-in number and provide routine reports internally;
- Deliver high level strategic customer presentations and proposals when required.
- Ability to design and executive pre-agreed business plans.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferably a Degree in IT, Telecom, Economy/Marketing, Business or a related field.
- The successful candidate should have a minimum 8 years of experience within an IT key account business role and / or technical business development environment with at least 3 years channel management experience in local government / carriers / finance industry (banks, insurance, security) / global ICT manufacturers / large sixe system integrators./ Military
- The successful candidate should have a solid understanding of key account business within an IT environment having operated in a similar capacity in an IT or related organization.
- Understanding of IT Networking, Power, Management and/or related environments.
- The candidate should also be well versed with the latest IT networking infrastructure technologies and trends.
- Good performance record in channel businesses.
- Good relationship with local major IT integrators
- Pleasant personality, result driven, high self-motivated and with good interpersonal skills and responsible.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills as a team player.
- A high level of energy, commitment, and passion for results; the ability to meet deadlines and handle numerous projects at once.
